What if artificial intelligence could design engineering systems on its own? Smart Design Lab aims to open a new paradigm in manufacturing by leveraging AI-based engineering design. By combining physics-based mechanics and data-driven deep learning technologies, we build a virtual product development platform through digital transformation. This approach innovatively reduces the time and cost required for product development and enables the creation of designs that can succeed in the market.
We integrate AI with engineering design technologies (such as design optimization, CAD/CAM/CAE, HCI, etc.) to enable AI to autonomously create designs that meet engineering performance, aesthetics, and economic viability. To achieve this, we focus our research on the following three core AI technologies.
